Dinard

Dinard is a French commune located in the department of îlle and Vilaine in Brittany. Very well known to the British and the Americans by its villas Belles époque and its festival of the best British film, Dinard is a famous seaside resort. 

Dinard, Breton city 

Dinard with its villas dating from 1900-1910, its casino and its many cultural activities is one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in France. The city is located on the Emerald Coast on the edge of the Côtes d'Armor. Dinard is part of the Canton of Saint-Malo.  It is designated as a litoral city. This designation generates respect for specific urban planning schemes. 

A day in Dinard

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings, the Esplanade des Halles de Dinard opens its doors for its unmissable market in the region.

After enjoying the market, you can enjoy shopping in the streets of Dinard. Many art galleries and independent shops offer unique pieces. Jewelry, clothing, sculptures or accessories, there is something for everyone. 

To delight you, we recommend the sausage cakes to take away, special from Upper Brittany.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy guided tours that will make you discover the heritage. Passing through the Pointe de la Malouine, the Moulinet, the Moonlight Promenade you will learn how the resort was built over the ages. 

If you prefer the freedom to wander alone in Dinard, you can opt for the plans of discovery circuits. Seven walking routes through the city with historical information are available in the reception areas. 

End the evening in style with the Moonlight Promenade which lights up at nightfall in summer. A musical atmosphere accompanies you along the villas.
